'A Basket of Summer Fruit' is a poetic silent film adapted for the screen from a poem by Australian poet, Charles Harpur. The story explores the blossoming romance between a lonesome recluse and his neighbour from across the road. The intent was to tell the story in a visceral way with no dialogue, score or diegetic sound.
